THE COMPANY

 

Our client is a French high technology consulting and engineering company active in the large industrial and manufacturing sectors (automotive, aerospace, energy, rail, chemicals, etc...).

The company has enjoyed substantial growth over the last few years, generated revenues close to 400Mio € and employs currently more than 5,000 people.

Development of the German market is a key strategy of the Group and has been dictated in part by the need to accompany some of their major clients abroad.

To strengthen its strategic position the company wants to recruit a Business Development Manager Automotive Industry based in Munich.

 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The overall purpose of the function will be to identify, sell, secure and manage long-term profitable business as well as managing projects and contracts with high customer satisfaction.

 

 

 

THE CANDIDATE

 

The ideal candidates profile is

    Several years experience of selling technical services to the Automotive industry.

    Full awareness of profitability and P&L management requirements.

    Ability to negotiate complex contractual arrangements.

    Ability to manage and follow up complex projects.

    Strong team spirit with the ability to motivate teams in a matrix environment.

    Energetic, enthusiastic and goal oriented.

    Customer oriented with an understanding of end user requirements and a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

          Fluent in English and German. French would be a strong plus.
