Business Development Manager

Location : Germany

 

 

THE COMPANY

 

Our client is one of the leading IT Services companies in Europe with some 4,000 employees in Germany and revenue of over five hundred million Euros.

To further expand its strategic position our client wants to recruit Business Development Managers in the following areas:

Banking/Insurance (Finance Industry)

Managed Operations, Outsourcing, Outtasking – cross Industry

Business Intelligence (BI) & Enterprise Content Mgmt – cross Industry

SAP consulting, integration, operation Services – cross Industry

Manufacturing Industry Solutions (Chemical, Steel, Automotive etc.)

 

 

THE POSITION

 

The business development will be focused on the midsized companies and covers the following tasks

    Development and qualification of profitable business opportunities for defined services offerings

    Identification of growth potential by integrating portfolio sales into account development

    Co-ordination and collaboration internally and externally in order to achieve targets

    Communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams

    Management of critical issues within complex customer situations

    Management of deal-relevant resources and sales project teams

    Sales leadership within bid teams and appliance of internal sales processes

    Contract negotiation until closing and for early contract prolongations

 

 

THE CANDIDATES' PROFILE

 

The ideal candidate will have

    Sales skills and experience of 5 years or more

    Proven track record in selling, up selling and client management

    Professional communication and negotiation

    Relationship management up to C-Level

    Consultative and value based selling

    Self motivating, self reliant and determined

    Business fluent in German and English language
