Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location : Switzerland, Zurich

THE CLIENT

Our Client is a large and reputable international consulting Company. The major Clients will be the public sector and large multinational Companies.

In Switzerland the Company has a fully owned subsidiary based in Zürich. This entity employs about 100 people with sales exceeding 30mm Swiss francs.

The Swiss Company is now looking for his CFO Switzerland.

THE POSITION

The position has 2 main responsibilities:

1. It is in charge of all local legal and fiscal filings and of all Company wide reporting requirements.
2. It will support local management through budgeting, forecasting and financial and business analysis. In this context the position will have an influential role in supporting local decision making with regards to overall planning but also to individual business transactions.

The position will manage and motivate a small group of 3-4 employees.

THE CANDIDATE

Ideally the candidate will have 5 to 10 years experience in finance functions. He/she will preferably have worked in a subsidiary of an International Company.

While he/she will be knowledgeable of the local legal and fiscal requirements, he/she will first and foremost be a strong business partner to the local organisation. This will therefore require excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong analytical mind.

The candidate will have the highest integrity, will be hard working and a strong team player.

The position is based in Zurich.
